The scholarships are offered in 2012 for women nominated by MCA member or associate member companies and will assist in increasing the leadership credentials of women in the minerals industry.
The AICD offers world class governance education through its Company Directors Course and will help equip scholarship holders with the skills and knowledge to take on company directorships.
The scholarships, worth $9,200 each, include registration for the course, one year membership of the AICD and travel and accommodation expenses.
The closing date for nominations is 31 August.
